Biography

Hamid Mohammadi, Ph.D., CPA, received his doctorate in Operations Management in 1990, and MBA in 1985 from Illinois Institute of Technology. He joined the faculty of the Graham School of Management in 1990. He teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses on service operations management, project management and business analytics. His areas of interest and research include the impact of information technology on financial service industry, capacity and demand planning and green supply chain. Since receiving his Ph.D., he has published numerous papers in several referred business journals and regularly been presenter, reviewer, discussant and chair at the Midwest Business Administration Association (MBAA) conferences.

Dr. Mohammadi received Excellence in Teaching Award in 2018 and Scholarly Conference Award - SXU in 2017. He is an active member of the Illinois Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Society and The Institute for Operations Research and the Management (INFORMS). His current research focuses on the performance of Supply Chain Management (SCM) in supplier firms to investigate if the process integration of supplier firms serve as a motivation to implement SCM, and how the governance of SCM impact such a motivation to implement it, and consequently, the performance of firms.

Since 1992 his consulting company, Hamid Reza Mohammadi (HRM), has been helping several companies in southwest suburbs of Chicago in business planning, budgeting, forecasting and tax planning. He is a registered CPA in the state of Illinois since 1990.
