Biography

Tony DeCesare earned his doctorate in philosophy of education with a doctoral minor in political science from Indiana University in Bloomington. Prior to joining the faculty at Saint Xavier University, he served as an assistant professor at Saint Louis University (2015-2019) and an instructional assistant professor at DePaul University (2019-2023). His research focuses on improving the vibrancy and inclusiveness of democratic societies through public schooling and other forms of education.
